When the company launched their first phone a rumour was spread that it is a very hyped smartphone. To some extend its true, the built quality and the design this phone is attractive. The thing that is common between Nothing and Apple is that both do not provide charger and back cover. But we can see that the brands like redmi, oppo, vivo, oneplus provide these accessories in this price range. The hardware of this phone is quite powerful. It provides Snapdragon 77G+ to the users, it runs smooth. It is a 5G smartphone. I didn,t find any speed related issue in this phone. It works very fine. Nothing phone 1 has their own Nothing OS, right of the back dont allow the name to trick you. Nothing OS(Nothing Operating System) is actually not an Operating System. It is a UI, which is the graphical showcase that you see and connect with hen you see the phone. The operating system of this phone is Android 12 where you will have the usual playstore and the other Google apps.
Nothing provides a 50 MP of primary camera and a 50MP of ultra wide camera. The camera is not as good as Apple. According to the company, the event held by them was shoot on this phone itself. But suprisingly the camera quality is not good as i expected, and i personally didn't like the camera quality at all. The company is trying to fix the camera quality as they recieved many complaints regarding the camera quality. But their are still some more to fix. The processing colour of the surrounding does not perform well like the other smartphone performs well at AI mode. The company told that they will work and fix the problems of Nothing Phone 1.
The battery backup of the phone is quite strong and good. Nothing provides a 45 watt charger. It will be better if it provide charging speed of 60 to 65 watt. The Charging speed is quite slow than compared to other smartphones at this price range. But as a whole the performance of this battery is powerful. The Qualcomm provide speed charging and is compatible with this phone. Other charger doesn't suport fast charge.
The software and UI of this phone is quite impressive. The software runs smooth and their is no problem of frame drop. The UI display does not contain any third party application.
So, Now the question arise," Is this phone worth buying?"
Yes, if you are a balanced user then this phone is worth buying. But if you are a gamer than you should opt for a different one. It is not a Pro Gaming phone. you can't play games like fortnite on this phone.
